VStarOne has continued its efforts in offering career counseling/training, small business acceleration and expanding access to capital and networking for minority young entrepreneurs.
Our three-pillar strategy is integrated into everything we do. Highlights over the past year include
In pursuit of our goal to uplift the career educators and young entrepreneurs, we’ve curated
an online library containing 100+ hours of VStarOne content mapped to the career counseling
and development curriculum and learning objectives to teachers, counselors, and practitioners
through our partnership with Tencent Education Online Platform.
Expanded awareness of local small business owners and individuals through more than 17,200
unique visits to our online Marketplace since its launch in August 2018.
Additionally, we collaborated with Career Centers in Chinese universities and secondary schools
to advance opportunities in local communities. Our staff volunteered to create hands-on curriculum
and materials for partner schools and delivered workshop series for college students. Trained more
than 167,000 individuals around the world through 50+ workshops, 36 information sessions, 5 partner
schools, and two accelerators
Successfully launched VStarOne Fund, LLC, attracted three new investors and managed the Fund
through its first investment in a local social enterprise and offered over 50 scholarships toward
youth applicants
